24મી એપ્રિલે જિલ્લા આરોગ્ય પ્રભારી સચિવ જે.પી. ગુપ્તાએ પણ અધિકારીઓ અને ખાનગી તબીબો જોડે બેઠક યોજી હતી. જોકે, સિનિયર આઈ.એ.એસ. જે.પી. ગુપ્તાની મુલાકાતના બાદ ગાંધીનગરના કન્ટ્રોલ વિભાગે જિલ્લા બહારથી ટેન્કર મારફતે કચ્છમાં આવતો લિક્વિડ ઓક્સિજનનો જથ્થો અચાનક બંધ કરી દીધો. એટલું જ નહીં પણ ઓક્સિજનના સિલિન્ડર અને રેમડેસિવિર ઈન્જેકશનનો જથ્થો પણ ઘટાડી દીધો.
ત્યારબાદ કચ્છમાં કોરોનાની સારવાર ઉપર માઠી અસર પડી છે અને કોરોનાના દર્દીઓ ટપોટપ મરી રહ્યા છે. જેના પગલે ભુજમાં એકોર્ડ હોસ્પિટલ સહિતની ખાનગી કોવિડ હોસ્પિટલોએ દર્દીઓ અને દર્દીઓના પરિવાર પાસેથી ઓક્સિજન સંમતિપત્રમાં લખાવ્યું છે કે, હોસ્પિટલના મેનેજમેન્ટ દ્વારા કોરોનાની તીવ્ર મહામારીના સમયે દર્દીઓ અને તેમના પરિવારને જણાવવામાં આવે છે કે, આટલા બધા દર્દીઓ અને આવી મહામારીને લીધે ઓક્સિજનના પ્રમાણમાં ઘટાડો થયો છે.એ ઉપરાંત રેમડેસિવિર ઈન્જકેશનમાં પણ ઘટાડો થયો છે. આવા બધા ગંભીર કારણો વિશે સરકાર, કલેકટર અને નોડલ ઓફિસરને જાણ કરી છે. પરંતુ, હોસ્પિટલને પૂરતો ઓક્સિજન મળતો નથી. જે માટે દર્દીઓ અને પરિવારજનો સહકાર આપે તે બહુ જરૂરી છે. હોસ્પિટલના મેનેજમેન્ટ દ્વારા તમામ પ્રયત્નો કરવામાં આવી રહ્યા છે. આમ છતાં પણ જો પ્રમાણમાં ઘટાડો થાય તો હોસ્પિટલ, મેનેજમેન્ટની જવાબદારી રહેશે નહીં.
