ગુજરાત વિધાનસભાની ચૂંટણીના પ્રથમ તબક્કાના મતદાન આડે હવે ગણતરીના દિવસો બાકી રહ્યા છે. ભાજપ, આમ આદમી પાર્ટી તથા કોંગ્રેસ ચૂંટણી પ્રચારમાં લાગી ગયા છે. આ દરમિયાન રાજકોટનું એક ગામ ચર્ચામાં છે.
ન્યૂઝ એજન્સી એએનઆઈ મુજબ, રાજ સમઢીયાળા ગામમાં રાજકીય પક્ષોને પ્રચાર કરવાની છૂટ નહીં, પરંતુ મતદાન ન કરનારને રૂ.51 દંડ કરવામાં આવે છે. 1983થી અહીં રાજકીય પક્ષોને પ્રચાર કરવાની મંજૂરી ન આપવાનો આ નિયમ છે. પરંતુ તમામ માટે મતદાન ફરજિયાત અન્યથા રૂ.51 દંડ કરવામાં આવે છે તેમ ગામના સરપંચે જણાવ્યું.
