આર.સી.ટેકનિકલ કેમ્પસના રાઉન્ડ ટેબલ પર રોબોવૉર
પુલવામા આતંકી હુમલો અને ત્યારબાદ ભારતના એક્શનની જબરદસ્ત ચર્ચાઓ વિશ્વભરમાં થઇ રહી છે અને સમગ્ર દેશવાસી ગર્વ લઇ રહ્યા છે ત્યારે સોલા સ્થિત આર.સી.ટેકનિકલ ખાતે ટેક ફેસ્ટ ‘આવિષ્કાર-૨૦૧૯’ની થીમ પર કરન્ટ પરિસ્થિતિને અનુલક્ષીને તૈયાર કરાઇ છે, જેમાં સમગ્ર કેમ્પસમાં સૈનિકો, ફાઇટર પ્લેન અને રોકેટના કટ આઉટ મૂકવામાં આવ્યા છે. ટેક ફેસ્ટમાં સ્ટુડન્ટસે પેડલ ઓપરેટેડ હાઇડ્રોલિક પંપ, ઇકો ટ્રાન્સપોર્ટ, ૩૬૦ ડિગ્રી કન્વેયર બેલ્ટ, કેન્ટિલીવો, મોડ-૭ વગેરે જેવા ૧૦૦થી વધુ મોડેલ રજૂ કર્યા છે, જેમાં રોબોવૉર આકર્ષણનું કેન્દ્ર રહી હતી.
સ્લોપ મિકેનિઝમનો ઉપયોગથી બનાવેલા રોબોટે બધાને ટક્કર આપી
કોલેજ કેમ્પસ ખાતે યોજાયેલી દરેક ઇવેન્ટ વચ્ચે ‘રોબોવૉર’ ઇવેન્ટ સ્ટુડન્ટ માટે સૌથી વધુ મનોરંજક રહી હતી. આ ઇવેન્ટમાં ટોટલ ૧૬ ટીમે ભાગ લીધો હતો, જેમાં સ્ટુડન્ટસે જાતે ઇનોવેટ કરેલા થૉર, થ્રીએમપી, ગ્લેડીયેટર, કબાલી, ટર્મિનેટર અને કિલર રોબોટ્સ વચ્ચે વૉર જામી હતી. રોબોવૉરમાં ૩૦ સે.મી. અને ૩ કિ.લો.ના રોબોટ તૈયાર કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા, જે લીફ્ટઅપ, કટર, હેમર અને સ્નોપ જેવા મિકેનિઝમને આધારે ડિઝાઇન કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. કોલેજ હૉલમાં રાઉન્ડ ટેબલ પર રોબોટ વચ્ચે યુધ્ધ જામ્યું હતું. જેની ફાઇનલમાં કુલ છ ટીમ આવી હતી. વિજેતા ટીમે તેમના રોબોટમાં સ્લોપ મિકેનિઝમનો ઉપયોગ કર્યો હતો જેથી સામા રોબોટને પાછળ ધકેલવામાં મદદ મળી શકે અને ગ્રીપ વધે પ્રમાણે ટાયર સેટ કર્યા હતા.
