આસારામ પછી એના દીકરા નારાયણ સાઈને બળાત્કારના આરોપમાં અદાલતે આજીવન કેસની સજા ફટકારી છે. આ સાથે 1 લાખનો દંડ પણ ફટકારવામાં આવ્યો છે. નારાયણ સાઈની સાથીદાર ગંગા-જમના અને હનુમાનને પણ 10 વર્ષની કેદની સજા આપવામાં આવી છે. આ ઉપરાંત રમેશ મલ્હોત્રાને 6 મહિનાની સજા અને 500 દંડ ફટકારવામાં આવ્યો છે. સરકારી વકીલના કહેવા મુજબ નારાયણ સાઈએ ભગવાનના નામે ભક્તોનો વિશ્વાસઘાત કર્યો છે. આ સાથે પીડિતાને 5 લાખનું વળતર આપવામાં આવશે. સમગ્ર દેશમાં ચર્ચાસ્પદ બનેલા આ કેસનો ચુકાદો આવવાનો હોવાથી કોર્ટમાં જડબેસલાક બંદોબસ્ત વચ્ચે નારાયણ સાઈને હાજર કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે, આસારામ પણ હાલ બળાત્કારના કેસમાં જેલની હવા ખાઈ રહ્યો છે, અને હવે તેના દીકરાને પણ અદાલતે બળાત્કારના કેસમાં દોષિત ઠેરવી સજા સંભળાવી દીધી છે.
