વાયુસેનાના માલવાહક વિમાન AN-32 ક્રેશ થતા 13 જવાનોના મોત, શહીદ જવાનોના મૃતદેહ જોરહાટ એરબેઝ ખાતે લવાશે
વાયુસેનાના માલવાહક વિમાન AN-32 ક્રેશ થતા તેમાં સવાર તમામ 13 જવાનોના મોત નિપજ્યા હતા. આજરોજ તમામ શહીદ જવાનોના મૃતદેહને જોરહાટ એરબેઝ ખાતે લાવવાની પ્રક્રિયા હાથ ધરાશે. આ ઉપરાંત દુર્ઘટનાની તપાસ માટે સેનાએ કોર્ટ ઓફ ઈન્ક્વાયરીનો આદેશ પણ આપ્યો છે.
વાયુસેનાના જવાનો તેમજ પર્વતારોહકોની બચાવ ટુકડી ગુરુવારે 12 હજાર ફૂટની ઊંચાઈએ દુર્ઘટનાસ્થળે પહોંચી હતી. વિમાનનો કાટમાળ જ્યાં હતો તે સ્થળે બચાવ ટુકડીએ પહોંચીને પુષ્ટિ કરી હતી કે વિમાનમાં સવાર 13 પૈકી કોઈ બચ્યું નથી.
બચાવ ટુકડીને AN-32 વિમાનના ફ્લાઈટ ડેટા રેકોર્ડર (બ્લેક બોક્સ) અને કોકપીટ વોઈસ રેકોર્ડર મળી આવ્યા છે. બ્લેક બોક્સની મદદથી વિમાન તૂટી પડવા પાછળનું કારણ જાણવામાં તપાસ ટીમને મદદ થશે.
રશિયન બનાવટના AN 32 વિમાને 3જી જૂનના રોજ આસામના જોરહાટથી ઉડાન ભરી હતી અને ચીન સરહદ નજીકના મેનચુકા જઈ રહ્યું હતું. ઉડાનના અડધો કલાકમાં જ વિમાનો સંપર્ક છૂટી ગયો હતો. વિમાનમાં સવાર વિંગ કમાન્ડર જી એમ ચાર્લ્સ, સ્કૉવ્ડ્રન લીડર એચ વિનોદ, ફ્લાઈટ લેફ્ટનન્ટ એલ આર થાપા, એમકે ગર્ગ, આશિષ તનવર અને સુમિત મોહન્તી, વોરન્ટ ઓફિસર કે કે મિશ્રા, સાર્જન્ટ અનૂપ કુમાર, એરમેન એસ કે સિંહ, પંકજ તેમજ સાથી રાજેશ કુમાર અને પુતાલીના મોત થયા હોવાનું એરફોર્સે જણાવ્યું હતું.
