ગુજરાતી યુવકે અમેરિકન યુવતીને ફસાવીને 50 લાખ રૂપિયા પડાવ્યા..

ગુજરાતમાં વડોદરાના ગોત્રી રોડ વિસ્તારમાં રહેતા એક યુવકએ અમેરિકન યુવતીને ઇમોશનલી બ્લેકમેઇલ કરી હતી. યુવકે તેની પાસેથી પચાસ લાખ રૂપિયા પડાવી લીધા. તેમની સાથે ચેટિંગ ચાલુ રાખીને તેને વિશ્વાસમાં લીધી અને કહ્યું કે, ‘હું દેવામાં ડૂબી ગયો છું! જો તું મદદ નહિ કરશે તો, મારે આત્મહત્યા કરવા માટે વિવશ થવું પડશે. હું સુસાઇડ નોટમાં લખીશ કે તારા કારણે હું આ પગલાં લઈ રહ્યો છું. ફક્ત તને જ નહીં પણ તારા આખા પરિવારને પણ આ માટે જવાબદાર ગણાવીશ. ‘આ રીતે તે યુવતી તેને રૂપિયા આપતી રહી. એક દિવસ યુવતીના કાકાને તેની ખબર પડી ગઈ.
યુવતીના કાકાએ ક્રાઇમ બ્રાન્ચમાં ફરિયાદ કરી હતી. ત્યાર બાદ ગુજરાત પોલીસે તાત્કાલિક કાર્યવાહી કરી અને બે યુવાનોની ધરપકડ કરી. પોલીસના જણાવ્યા મુજબ કારેલીબાગના કોન્ટ્રાક્ટર બંકિમ પટેલનો ભાઈ પ્રવીન યુએસએના મિસિંગનમાં રહે છે. તેમણે તેમની બહેન સ્વાતી પાટનીને નાગરવાડામાં સ્થિત તેનું ઘર રહેવા માટે આપ્યું હતું. જેના કારણે સ્વાતી બેનની પુત્રી ખુશી પ્રવીણની પુત્રી જેસીકાના સંપર્કમાં આવી. ખુશીએ જેસિકાની ઓળખાણ વડોદરાના ગોત્રી રોડ વિસ્તારમાં રહેતા ચિરાયુ પટેલ સાથે કરાવી. ત્યારથી જ જેસિકા અને ચિરાયુ વચ્ચે સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર વાતચીત થવા લાગી.
