કચ્છના કંડલા સહિત ઓખા, ભાવનગર સમુદ્રમાં લેશે જળ સમાધિ !!!
ક્લાઇમેટ ચેન્જના પ્રમાણ તળે હિમખંડો પીગળી રહ્યા છે અને પર્વતો પર હિમના આવરણનું સ્તર પણ ઘટી રહ્યું હોવાનું ગઇકાલે ચિંતાજનક તારણ આઇપીસીસીના હેવાલમાં આવ્યા બાદ મંગળવારે નાસાએ એક ડરામણો હેવાલ આપ્યો હતો. અમેરિકી સમાચાર એજન્સી નાસાએ પોતાના હેવાલમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ધરતીનું તાપમાન વધવાથી ભારતમાં કેવી થશે તબાહી. આ હેવાલ લગભગ 80 વર્ષ બાદ એટલે કે, સાલ 2100 સુધીની તસવીર દેખાડે છે.
જેમાં કચ્છ સહિતનો તટિય વિસ્તાર ડૂબી જાય તેવી સંભાવના દેખાડવામાં આવી છે.હેવાલમાં જણાવવામાં આવ્યું છે કે, સમુદ્રનું જળસ્તર વધવાથી પહેલા ભારતના 12 કાંઠાળ શહેર 3 ફૂટ સુધી પાણીમાં ડૂબી જશે. આવું થવાનું કારણ એ છે કે, સતત ગરમી વધતાં ધ્રુવો પર જામેલો બરફ પીગળી રહ્યો છે.ગ્લેશિયર (હિમખંડ) પીગળવાની અસર ઓખા, મોરમુગાઓ, કંડલા, ભાવનગર, મુંબઇ, મેંગ્લોર, ચેન્નાઇ, વિશાખાપટ્ટનમ, તુતીકોરીન, કોચી, પારાદીપ અને પશ્ચિમ બંગાળના કીડરપોરા કાંઠાળ વિસ્તાર પર પડશે. આવામાં ભવિષ્યમાં આ વિસ્તારોમાં રહેતા લોકોને આ જગ્યા છોડવી પડી શકે છે. માત્ર 79 વર્ષ એટલે કે, ઇ.સ. 2100માં ભારતના 12 દરિયા કિનારાના શહેરો 3 ફૂટ પાણીમાં ગરકાવ થઇ જવાની શક્યતા છે. દેશનો સૌથી લાંબો દરિયા કિનારો ધરાવતા ગુજરાતના ત્રણ શહેરો આ યાદીમાં છે. ઓખા, કંડલા અને ભાવનગરનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
કારણ કે, કોઇપણ દરિયા કિનારાના વિસ્તારમાં 3 ફૂટ પાણી વધવાનો અર્થ થાય છે કે, ઘણા વિસ્તારમાં તારાજી સર્જાવાની છે.અમેરિકન સ્પેસ એજન્સી (નાસા)એ સી લેવલ પ્રોજેકશન ટુલ બનાવ્યું છે, જેનો આધાર છે ઇન્ટર-ગવર્નમેન્ટલ પેનલ ઓન ક્લાઇમેટ ચેન્જ આઇપીસીસીના તાજેતરમાં આવેલો રિપોર્ટ આ હેવાલમાં કહેવામાં આવ્યું છે કે, 2100 સુધીમાં દુનિયામાં ગરમીનું પ્રમાણ સખત વધી જવાનું છે. કાર્બન ઉત્સર્જન અને પ્રદૂષણ રોકવામાં નહીં આવે તો તાપમાનમાં સરેરાશ 4.4 ડિગ્રી સેલ્સીયસનો વધારો થશે. આગામી બે દશકામાં જ તાપમાન 1.5 ડિગ્રી સેલ્સીયસનો વધારો થશે. આગામી બે દશકામાં જ તાપમાન 1.5 ડિગ્રી સેલ્સીયસ વધી જશે. જો આટલું તાપમાન વધશે તો સ્વાભાવિક છે કે, ગ્લેશિયર પીગળશે. એનું પાણી મેદાન અને દરિયાકાંઠાના વિસ્તારોમાં તારાજી સર્જી શકે છે.
