લુપ્ત થઈ રહેલા હાલારી ગધેડાના સંવર્ધનના પ્રયાસ, પ્રથમ વખત હાલારી ગધેડીની ગોદભરાઈ વિધિ યોજાઇ
પાળેલા જાનવરોના લગ્ન સહિત અનેક એવા અનોખા કાર્યક્રમ વિષે આપણે સાંભળ્યુ હશે અને જોયુ પણ હશે પરંતુ ગધેડાની જાતને કોઇ પ્રસંગમાં સામેલ કરાયા હોય તેવુ ભાગ્યે જ આપણે જોયુ હશે પરંતુ બહુ ઓછા લોકોને ખબર હશે કે હવે ગધેડાની કેટલીક લુપ્ત થતી જાતોને સરકારે રાષ્ટ્રીય માન્યતા તો આપી છે. પરંતુ ધટતી સંખ્યા વચ્ચે તેની ઉપયોગીતા વધારવા પણ ધણી સંસ્થાઓ કામ કરે છે. સૌરાષ્ટ્રના જામનગર દ્રારકા અને કચ્છના(Kutch) કેટલાક વિસ્તારોમા જોવા મળતી હાલારી ગધેડાની જાતને ભારત સરકારે રાષ્ટ્રીય માન્યતા પશુઓલાદ તરીકે આપેલી છે. જો કે લુપ્ત થતા હાલારી ગધેડાની જાતને બચાવવા સૌરાષ્ટ્રમા અનોખો કાર્યક્રમ યોજાયો જેમાં ગર્ભવતી ગધેડીની ગોદભરાઇની વિધી આયોજીત કરવામા આવી હતી.
ગધેડીની ગોદભરાઈ (સીમંત) પણ કરવામાં હોય તેવુ તમે સાંભળ્યુ નહી હોય પણ. હા, આ વાત છે સૌરાષ્ટ્રના હાલારી ગધેડીની ગોદભરાઇની. હાલારી ગધેડાની સંખ્યા હવે ફક્ત 439 બચી છે, જે હવે બિલકુલ લુપ્ત થવાને આરે છે. આ ગધેડાને બચાવવા માટે અને સંરક્ષિત કરવા માટે કચ્છની સહજીવન સંસ્થા-ભુજ દ્રારા પણ પ્રયત્નો થઇ રહ્યા છે. હાલાર પંથકના ભરવાડ માલધારીઓ સાથે હાલારી ગધેડા ના સંરક્ષણ માટે આ અનોખો કાર્યક્રમ આયોજીત કરાયો હતો., જેમાં ભરવાડ સમાજ ની બહેનોએ તેમની પરંપરા મુજબ જેમ પોતાના પરિવાર માં આંગતુક બાળક ને સત્કારવા ગર્ભવતી બહેનની ગોદભરાઈ સંસ્કાર વીધી કરવામાં આવે તે રીતે હાલારી ગધેડા ને બચાવવા માટે ગર્ભવતી હાલારી ગધેડીની ગોદભરાઈ ગર્ભ સીમંત સંસ્કારની વિધિ કરી હતી.આ વિધિ રાજકોટ જિલ્લાના ઉપલેટા ગામ ખાતે યોજવામાં આવી હતી.
લોકલ ક્રાઇમ બ્રાન્ચે મટન માર્કેટ નજીકથી રૂ 33 હજારની કિંમતનો દારૂ અને બિયરનો જથ્થો ઝડપ્યો
ગર્ભવતી ગધેડીની ગોદભરાઈ વિધિ કરવામાં આવી હોય તેવી ભારત દેશની કદાચ આ સૌ પ્રથમ ઘટના હોવાનુ સહજીવન સંસ્થાના પ્રોગ્રામ ડાયરેક્ટર રમેશ ભટ્ટીએ જણાવ્યુ હતુ. આ કાર્યક્રમ માં 33 જેટલી હાલારી માદા ગધેડીઓ હતી. બહેનોએ ગર્ભવતી ગધેડીને સાજ શણગાર કરી, પૂજાવિધિ કરી, વિધિવત રીતે પોંખીને ગોદભરાઈ વિધિ પુર્ણ કરી હતી, કચ્છ જિલ્લામાં પણ હાલારી ગધેડાની નહિવત સંખ્યા જોવા મળે છે, કેટલાક કુંભાર પરિવારો હાલારી ગધેડા રાખે છે, હાલારી ગધેડાનું દુધ દેશ ની અન્ય તમામ ગધેડાની પ્રજાતિ ઓ કરતા ઔષધીય રીતે સૌથી વધારી પૌષ્ટિક હોઈ અને પ્રતિ લીટર રૂપિયા 1000 થી વધુ ઉપજવાની સંભાવના છે. જેના પગલે સહજીવન સંસ્થા દ્રારા હાલારી ગધેડાના સંવર્ધન માટે પ્રયાસો હાથ ધરાયા છે.
