સ્થાનિક સ્વરાજ્યની ચૂંટણીનું સોમવારે જાહેરનામું બહાર પડી ગયું છે અને ૧૩મી ફેબ્રુઆરીએ ઉમેદવારી ભરવા માટેની છેલ્લી તારીખ છે, જેથી બંને પક્ષોમાંથી બુધવારે મોડી રાત્રે ઉમેદવારોની યાદી બહાર પડે અેવી શક્યતા છે. જોકે, ભાજપમાં દાવેદારી કરનારાઓ સ્થાનિકે આખરી દાવપેચ કર્યા બાદ પણ ઉચક જીવે બેઠા છે. કેમ કે, ગત ટર્મમાંથી મોટાભાગના કપાઈ જશે અને નવા સાથે કેટલાક જૂના જોગીઓનો પણ સમાવેશ થાય એવી શક્યતા છે. ભારતીય જનતા પાર્ટીના સ્થાનિકે નિરીક્ષકોએ 26મી અને 27મી જાન્યુઆરીએ દાવેદારોને સાંભળ્યા બાદ સ્થાનિકે જ બાકીના બે તબક્કે વિશ્લેષણની પ્રક્રિયા ચાલી હતી.
હવે આજે સ્થાનિકેથી તૈયાર થયેલી પેનલ, વિકલ્પ અને એકમતી ન સંધાઇ હોય એવા નામો લઈને ધારાસભ્ય, સાંસદ અને જિલ્લા ભાજપના નેતાઓ પ્રદેશ કક્ષાએ જશે. બુધવારે પ્રદેશ કક્ષાએ તમામના દાવા દલીલ સાંભળ્યા બાદ આખરી યાદી તૈયાર થશે. જેના નામો બુધવારે સાંજ સુધી અંગત રીતે વ્યક્તિગત કહી દેવાશે. પરંતુ, સત્તાવાર રીતે બુધવારે મોડી રાત્રે અથવા ગુરુવારે સવારે જાહેર કરવામાં આવશે. બીજી તરફ કોંગ્રેસમાં કયા વોર્ડમાંથી કયો ઉમેદવાર ઊભો રહેશે એ અપવાદને બાદ કરતા મોટેભાગે નક્કી થઈ જ ગયું છે, જેથી મંગળવાર સાંજે અથવા બુધવારે સવારે યાદી બહાર પડી જશે.
