ત્રગડી ગામે ક્ષત્રિય યુવાને પોતાના પ્રાણ આપી ને અશ્વ દોડ સ્પર્ધા માં અશ્વ ને બચાવ્યો
દર વર્ષની જેમ આ વર્ષે પણ ત્રગડી ગામે સુલતાનસા પીરનો મેળો કોમી એકતા સાથે યોજાયો હતો . આ મેળામાં દર વર્ષે આકર્ષણનુ કેન્દ્ર અશ્વદોડ હોય છે . નાનપણથી જ અશ્વપ્રેમી અને અશ્વોમાં રુચિ ધરાવતા દરેક લોકો અહી પધારે છે . એમનાં એક હતા સ્વ. રાજદીપસિંહ કિશનસિંહ જાડેજા . આ અસવાર નાનપણથી જ અશ્વપ્રેમી અને નિડર અસવાર હતા . આ જ મેળામાં પૂર્વે રાજદિપસંહે અશ્વદોડમાં ગણા વિક્રમો સર્જ્યા હતા . હિન્દુ – મુસ્લિમની કોમી એકતાથી યોજાયેલા કાર્યક્રમમાં અશ્વદોડ સ્પર્ધા હતી.
જેમાં રાજદીપસિંહે પણ દર વર્ષની જેમ ભાગ લીધો હતો . દોડનો પ્રારંભ થતાં જ અશ્વો ખૂબ વેગથી દોડ્યા . દોડના રૂટમાં બે વીજપોલ હતા . અશ્વને કંઈ ઇજા ન થાય એ માટે રાજદીપસિંહે અશ્વને બીજી બાજુ લેવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો પણ અશ્વને બચાવવામાં તેમને વીજપોલનો ઘા લાગ્યો અશ્વને પણ ખૂબ જ ઇજા પહોંચી . તાત્કાલિક ધોરણે રાજદિપસિંહને હોસ્પિટલે લઇ જવામાં આવ્યા અને સારવાર દરમ્યાન તેમનું અવસાન થયું . આ સઘળી ઘટના કચ્છના અશ્વ જગતનાં અશ્વપ્રેમીઓનાં હૃદયને કંપાવી દે એવી છે . રાજદીપસિંહ નાનપણ થી અશ્વપ્રેમી હતા અને અશ્વ ઉપર સવાર થઈને એમનું મૃત્યુ થયું .
નોંધનીય બાબત એ છે કે કોઈ પણ પોલીસ ફરિયાદ કે F.I.R જેવું કંઈ નોંધાવવામાં આવ્યુ નથી . કચ્છ કાઠિયાવાડ સંપૂર્ણ ગુજરાતમાં અશ્વદોડમાં ખ્યાતનામ એવા રાજદિપસિંહ કિશનસિંહ જાડેજા આપણી વચ્ચે હવે નથી એનો દુઃખ કચ્છ કાઠિયાવાડનાં હર એક અશ્વપ્રેમીને છે.
