રાજ્યમાં આજથી નવા શૈક્ષણિક સત્રનો પ્રારંભ થયો છે. ઉનાળુ વેકેશન બાદ ઓરેન્જ અને રેડ એલર્ટ વચ્ચે આજથી શાળાઓ ફરીથી ધમધમશે. સ્કૂલ શરૂ થયા બાદ 13થી 15 જૂન દરમિયાન પ્રવેશોત્સવ યોજાશે. તો વર્ષ 2019-20ના પ્રથમ સત્રમાં 104 દિવસનું શૈક્ષણિક કાર્ય રહેશે. બીજા સત્રમાં 142 દિવસનું શૈક્ષણિક કાર્ય રહેશે. પ્રથમ સત્રમાં 21 દિવસનું દિવાળી વેકેશન પણ રહેશે. તો સમગ્ર શૈક્ષણિક સત્રમાં 80 રજાઓ અને 246 દિવસ અભ્યાસના રહેશે. તેમજ ધોરણ 10 અને 12 બોર્ડની પરીક્ષા 5 માર્ચ 2020થી શરૂ થશે. આ વર્ષથી નવરાત્રિ વેકેશન રદ કરવાનો કેબિનેટનો નિર્ણય છે.આજે વહેલી સવારથી જ સ્કૂલોના દરવાજા ખુલી જતા અનેરો ધમધમાટ જોવા મળ્યો હતો. લાંબા ઉનાળુ વેકેશન બાદ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ક્યાંક કંટાળો કરીને, તો ક્યાંક ઉત્સાહમાં સ્કૂલમાં પહોંચ્યા હતા. 6 મેના રોજ રાજ્યભરની સ્કૂલોમાં વેકેશન પડ્યું હતું અને 25 દિવસો સુધી સ્કૂલો બંધ રહી હતી. મોટાભાગની સ્કૂલો આજે શરૂ થઈ ગઈ છે, ત્યારે સ્કૂલોના કેમ્પસ ફરીથી વિદ્યાર્થીઓના કલરવથી ગુંજી ઉઠ્યા હતા. આજે રાજ્યભરની 45 હજારથી વધુ સરકારી અને પ્રાઈવેટ સ્કૂલો શરૂ થઈ છે. આ સાથે જ 11 હજારથી વધુ માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શાળાના કેમ્પસમાં પણ ધમધમાટ જોવા મળ્યો છે.
